1 pound fresh skinless salmon fillet, 1 inch thick

2 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoons grated fresh ginger

1 tablespoons finely chopped pistachio nuts

Rinse fish; pat dry with paper  towels

Cut salmon fillet into 1 inch chunks

Place fish in a self-sealing plastic bag set in a shallow dish

For marinade combine water, soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and ginger

Pour over salmon chunks, seal bag and marinade at room temperature for 30 minutes turning occasionally

Drain fish and discard marinade

In a large skillet, cook and gently stir the salmon fish chunks in the remaining 1 tablespoon of hot olive oil for about 5 minutes until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork

Serve in a serving platter and sprinkle with finely chopped pistachio nuts
